The creation of the Italian Ice Cream Academy is the result of  top experience in the specific sector of Italian high-quality ice cream-making.
 
The Academy was born in December 1996 thanks to some among the best Italian experts in this specific sector and allows ice cream and sweet makers to share their specific knowledge and experience.


The goals of the Academy are summarized in some detailed,  strict regulations written down at the very beginning of the Academy’s activity;  it aims at reinforcing the members’ professional profile and developing high-quality ice cream – especially insofar as traditional ice cream production is concerned – gathering together the best Italian producers, supporting their work and  finding out the best means to improve the production process,  the quality of the rough materials used and,  as a direct consequence,  the quality of the products used in one’s labs.  In one word,  we work to keep up the reputation of Italian high-quality handmade ice cream,  and to sell high-quality-ice cream in the members’ shops,  through the use of high- quality products,  the nutritive value of which is undoubtedly high.
